A drypoint etching is made by etching designs into a surface, filling in the etches with ink, and then printing onto a piece of paper. I did a hawk for mine, using mostly hatching and cross hatching. Instead of spending a ton of time doing all of the individual feathers, I put a bunch of little patches of feathers to give the illusion that there were feathers almost everywhere. My favorite one is the one on the far right, because it has the best lighting and most defined lines.
